Job Description

Sage is hiring Customer Support Specialists for Sage HCM to investigate and troubleshoot complex customer issues. The selected candidates will perform hands-on testing, reproduce reported problems, identify root causes and work with internal teams to resolve technical issues.

The role also involves communicating directly with customers, providing product guidance, documenting troubleshooting steps and identifying recurring issues that can help improve products and support processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of customer support cases from investigation through resolution.
  • Perform detailed technical investigation of customer-reported issues.
  • Reproduce software problems in controlled environments.
  • Conduct hands-on testing and troubleshooting.
  • Identify root causes and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Work with peers, product teams and engineering teams on complex issues.
  • Escalate confirmed product defects when required.
  • Provide customers with clear corrective steps and product guidance.
  • Educate customers on product functionality and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate case notes and troubleshooting documentation.
  • Identify recurring issues, data patterns and process gaps.
  • Recommend improvements to workflows and product stability.
  • Ensure customers receive timely and professional support.
