The company is currently building Crossword's go-to-market presence and is looking for a Marketing Intern who can contribute to content creation, social media, market research and sales operations.
Job Description
CometChat is hiring a Marketing Intern – Crossword in Mumbai. The selected candidate will work closely with the marketing and leadership teams and contribute to the launch and growth of Crossword, an AI-powered commerce product.
The role primarily focuses on content research, content writing, social media management and marketing activities, along with secondary responsibilities in sales operations and GTM support.

Content & Social Media
- Research competitors, ecommerce trends and AI-commerce developments.
- Identify customer pain points and relevant market opportunities.
- Research topics for marketing content.
- Write and edit blog posts, social media posts and email copy.
- Create one-pagers and other marketing materials.
- Write scripts for product demos and video campaigns.
- Create scripts for social media content.
- Manage Crossword's social media channels.
- Plan and maintain the social media content calendar.
- Draft and publish social media posts.
- Engage with the online community.
- Track social media performance and report what is working.
GTM & Sales Support
- Build prospect lists for sales campaigns.
- Perform data enrichment and maintain accurate prospect information.
- Support CRM hygiene and data management.
- Maintain outbound sales sequences.
- Research potential customer accounts.
- Personalize outbound messages.
- Track campaign responses and replies.
- Assist with sales collateral preparation.
- Conduct competitive research.
- Support internal Go-To-Market reporting.
Eligibility Criteria
- Freshers can apply.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree candidates are eligible.
- Strong written English skills are required.
