Huron is hiring an Analytics Engineer – Analyst to support its enterprise Data & Analytics solutions.
The selected candidate will work with Data Engineers, Power BI Developers, Data Architects, QA teams, business stakeholders, and other technical teams. The role is suitable for entry-level candidates interested in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, SQL, Python, Power BI, Data Modeling, ETL/ELT, and Analytics.
Candidates will participate in different stages of the analytics delivery lifecycle, including data preparation, reporting, testing, documentation, deployment support, and troubleshooting.

As an Analytics Engineer – Analyst, you will:
- Assist in developing, testing, and supporting data analytics solutions.
- Support data pipelines, data models, datasets, dashboards, and reports.
- Assist with ETL/ELT activities including data extraction, transformation, loading, mapping, reconciliation, and validation.
- Write basic to intermediate SQL queries and Python scripts.
- Support data preparation, automation, validation, and reporting activities.
- Develop and maintain Microsoft Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Work with Power BI visuals, filters, slicers, data models, and basic DAX calculations.
- Assist in developing Power BI semantic models.
- Understand source tables, relationships, joins, dimensions, measures, and business requirements.
- Work with data from cloud platforms, databases, and Databricks.
- Participate in requirements discussions with business and project teams.
- Document reporting requirements, data definitions, assumptions, and open questions.
- Support QA, unit testing, report validation, data comparison, and UAT activities.
- Document defects and assist with issue remediation.
- Troubleshoot basic data refresh, visualization, access, data quality, and report performance issues.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, business intelligence, reporting, software development, or related projects.
- Freshers with relevant academic projects or coursework can apply.
- Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Understanding of joins, data models, and reporting concepts.
- Basic knowledge of Python and SQL.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is preferred.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a global team environment.
