Job Description
Fujitsu is hiring Junior Data Engineers to support day-to-day monitoring and operational activities for data engineering pipelines and applications.
The selected candidates will perform first-level troubleshooting, data validation, SQL checks, incident management, ticket updates and documentation while working under the guidance of intermediate and senior engineers.
This role is suitable for candidates looking to start their career in Data Engineering, ETL, Cloud Data Platforms and Production Support.

- Monitor scheduled data pipeline runs, job status and alerts.
- Monitor file arrivals and data refresh activities.
- Perform first-level checks for failed jobs and incomplete data loads.
- Investigate missing files, data mismatches and alert notifications.
- Create, update and track incidents, service requests and change requests in ServiceNow.
- Run basic SQL queries for data validation and analysis.
- Validate job outputs and support source-to-target reconciliation.
- Collect logs, screenshots, error messages and other troubleshooting details.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers.
- Assist with maintaining runbooks, SOPs and operational checklists.
- Prepare daily status updates and monitoring reports.
- Support routine production support activities.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation.
- Participate in knowledge transfer and operational support activities.
