Job Description
Volvo Group is looking for an Associate Data & AI Engineer to join its Vehicle Power Management and Systems team. The role involves analyzing laboratory and vehicle-generated data, building data pipelines, applying Machine Learning techniques, developing AI-driven solutions, and supporting engineering teams with data-driven insights.
The selected candidate will work closely with system engineers, software developers, and verification teams to improve product quality, accelerate root cause analysis, and support next-generation automotive engineering solutions.

Data Engineering & Analytics
- Analyze data from electrical components such as batteries, alternators, DC/DC converters, relays, and power distribution modules.
- Correlate voltage, current, power, temperature, and state-of-charge measurements with component behavior.
- Develop automated data pipelines for collecting and organizing test data.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and anomalies.
- Build dashboards and visualizations for engineering teams.
Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
- Build machine learning models to identify patterns and anomalies.
- Develop predictive models for component and system behavior.
- Apply statistical and machine learning techniques for engineering analysis.
- Explore Generative AI solutions and intelligent assistants.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies for automotive applications.
Eligibility Criteria
