Job Description

Pitney Bowes is hiring Graduate Engineer Trainees (NOC) in Pune. This role is designed for candidates interested in Network Operations, DevOps, Automation, Infrastructure Monitoring and Cloud technologies.

The selected candidates will work in a modern, automation-focused Network Operations Center, supporting network and infrastructure monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with automation of network and infrastructure monitoring workflows.
  • Develop basic scripts using Python, Bash or PowerShell.
  • Support infrastructure and network change monitoring through CI/CD pipelines.
  • Work with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana.
  • Support automation and process optimization initiatives.
  • Work with APIs and structured data formats such as JSON and CSV.
  • Build foundational knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Monitor networks, systems and infrastructure in a 24x7 NOC environment.
  • Detect, triage and respond to alerts, incidents and outages.
  • Perform first-level troubleshooting of routers, switches, wireless networks and firewalls.
  • Log and track incidents using tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow.
  • Follow standard operating procedures for troubleshooting and escalation.
  • Collaborate with Network, Security, Application and Cloud teams.
  • Support routine configuration backups, patching, upgrades and health checks.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics or equivalent.
  • Freshers and candidates with 0–2 years of experience can apply.
  • Candidates should have strong networking fundamentals.
  • Basic knowledge of scripting and automation is preferred.
  • Willingness to work in a 24x7 shift-based NOC environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Relevant certifications can be an advantage.
